Watercolor Classes in Marin
Offering art and art classes to delight your creative spirit
Watercolor classes are held in Mill Valley and other Marin locations. This is a vibrant, creative class that's all about you, beginner or continuing student, and developing YOUR style, YOUR language. You can't get it wrong, you can only get it right as you become more and more yourself, pulling your inner dreams onto paper. Every week we'll have a new focus to delight and inspire you. Our class is fun, colorful, and encouraging. You can read more about art classes here.
Learn techniques that work and use them to develop your own personal style. Learn what works and why, and how. Beginners will get the basics, and as you progress you'll learn more and apply more in your paintings.
You'll also learn various ways to start a painting successfully and to meet the white piece of paper with ease. You will find out how to tell when a painting is finished. And you will find out why it's important in watercolor to turn "mistakes" into "happy accidents" and how to do it. Go with the flow and take the "critic" out of critiquing. All this, AND I make it FUN! Why? Because when it's fun, you'll want to keep painting and the results are superior. To get started, call me at (415) 381-3335 or send me an email. A two-hour lesson will get you started. I will be able to evaluate where you are. We'll talk about your what you want to do as a painter and I'll help you set up a plan that fits your needs.
Your lessons will give you the joy and the methods for successful, beautiful watercolor painting. You'll be making luscious paintings while learning watercolor techniques.
You'll develop your own personal style in your paintings and you'll find that this makes painting deeply satisfying. Learn while having fun.
