Handpainted silk scarves
Silk scarves by artist Sharon Searles. Sharon prepares a special mixture of exceptionally vibrant dyes and using various silkpainting techniques she creates a unique design for each silk scarf. The dyes are allowed to dry, and then they are steamed to permanently set the vibrant color into the silk.
Silkpainting classes
Silkpainting classes are taught by Sharon Searles in the San Francisco Bay Area. You will begin silk painting in the artist's studio, learning techniques and skills.
